Geo-wind app for iPhone and iPad

Geo-wind provides you a space-time orientation in the weatherdevelopment, which is unique.
It displays Wind fields on a map, instead of unprecise Weathersymbols, which are only point informations. You can watch the movement of this weatherfields in relation to your own position, which is marked on the map.
The animations of the colored weathermaps on every zoomlevel give you a fast overview over the movement of the weather. If you want to know it exactly, you can zoom close and investigate single timesteps.
Unlimited zoom on animations, from world view to very local view is worldwide unique.
You can compare different forecast models, zooming in. A global model and high res models are implemented in different zoomlevels.
This is the only style to communicate the precision of high res weatherdata. On close zoomlevels, the plotted values display the exact position of the datagrid.

Weather parameters are layers on Openstreetmap with a comfortable time dimension viewer.

Manifold Geo-localisation features:
You order Geo-wind with a static or a dynamic origin for any city on earth. Your ordered origin is preset at start and is marked on the map. Additionaly you can mark your actual position on the map as well as navigate to any place with the search feature. With one click you go back to your origin.
Geo-localisation is also used to initialise the high resolution forecasts for your origin.
It is not necessary any more , to select and download the data manualy.

High flexibilty:
Geo-wind is adjustable to the entire spectrum of transferrates: From DSL, Wifi, Turbo UMTS to very small transferrates e.g. 26 kbits/sec for satellite telefones

How to access actual forecast data
This app is free of charge with demo data installed.

Geo-wind is device-independent.
This means, you can display your ordered actual Geo-wind forecasts from every App or with the browser. You can see your Geo-wind for example in your Iphone-app and if you have a tablet or notebook with only wifi internet access, but with a larger screen, you can see it also with other operating system apps or with the browser. You can go to an internet cafe in the harbour and have access to your Geo-wind with your login. This device-independency is also valuable to spare roaming costs.
Because of that, you have to buy Geo-wind from the browser in the Geo-wind shop. Apple does not allow a Geo-wind shop inside the app, what is possible with other devices. You cannot register and buy Geo-wind inside the Geo-wind app on iOS devices.
